Since the First Amendment is again a hot topic, I'll gift everyone this Christopher Hitchens banger that remains, imo, the single greatest defense of free speech in modern history. He must be, unfortunately, rolling in his grave.

Good thing you’re giving him kudos, I’m sure he’ll appreciate and remember it when he’s sending you to prison.
9 more cities in the next 2 months? 🤨
His policies are shit but he certainly has rizz 😂

34 people killed in 50 days. Their guilt or innocence unknown, for an alleged crime that doesn't carry a death sentence. That's a lot of death.

Donald Trump promised you lower prices. Instead, by shutting down the government and refusing to extend health care tax credits, he is poised to inflict the “worst year-over-year price hike” on Americans’ health insurance premiums next year. All while building a grand new ballroom for himself.
Except Republicans know Democrats will immediately restore the “norms” in 2029 and they’ll get away scot-free so they can break them again in 2031 (just in time for redistricting!) or 2035.
How has this not been solved? Seems like it would be pretty easy to put a sensor and flashing lights, at least, on overpasses to warn these idiots.
Not “the real villains,” but powerful people actively enabling the real villains are also villains.
Can some Democrats even, like, *attempt* to make clear that every single person involved in these strikes will be investigated and brought to justice when the balance of power shifts, and that “just following orders” isn’t an excuse? @democrats.org @schumer.senate.gov @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social

When are the developers suing?
How about all us non-cattle ranchers who are paying through the fucking nose for beef?
The midterms are more than 12 months away, if you don’t like Mills there’s plenty of time to find someone else who doesn’t have a Nazi tattoo.
There’s significant, credible evidence that he knew about it long ago. Also I would expect a Marine to be more aware of Nazi military symbols than the average person. And I cannot believe nobody pointed it out to him in the last 20 years (and if nobody did, that raises further questions).
Isn't he supposed to be getting deposed?
North Carolina (50% Trump) is so hopelessly gerrymandered that their legislature has the votes for redistricting but *Indiana* (60% Trump) doesn't.
Well yeah I'd obviously take him over Collins any day of the week. But that shouldn't be the bar, particularly 12 months out from the election.
I don't think he's a Nazi. But I also don't think a guy we know next to nothing about with such obviously piss-poor judgment belongs in the Senate.
He 👏🏻 has 👏🏻 a 👏🏻 Nazi 👏🏻 tattoo.
Could be…I’m far from an expert, but I still doubt it. I think there’s probably tech that could stop the windows from closing, but opening them in the first place is much more difficult (and kinda pointless since they’re pretty easy to smash)
Amazon? Really? 🤨 A lot I can say about that wretched company but “hard to get refunds” would be dead last on my list.
*Maybe* it would be possible if they had cooperation from the manufacturer or a zero-day exploit (assuming this car even has the ability to remotely operate the windows), but even then they wouldn’t be able to just look at a random car and do it on command.
It just doesn’t make sense. Modern cars are connected but pretty secure against casual exploits. It’s not like back in the day when you could jury-rig a car key fob.
Pretty confident that’s not technically possible, at least not without significant advance planning.
