BTW, @govwesmoore.bsky.social agreed to be interviewed by Bari. I think that's smart, we should want candidates who are willing to go toe to toe with right wingers. While he's there, he should ask her if anyone from the government asked her to pull the CECOT segment.

George Lombard is a good prospect because he is an actual shortstop with some offensive abilities, but he got repeatedly crushed to us in 101 sourcing, and a sub-80 zcon/passive approach/55 grade exit velos combo that flatlined at AA is flashing every hitting profile warning sign you can imagine

IMO it's hard to combat the dangerousness of the right by participating in a platform where they aren't present.
I think the best way to explain the X vs Bluesky preference is whether a person thinks the left is more annoying than the right is dangerous.
The reason so many Noah Smiths end up on the X side of that equation is that while the left annoys them personally, the right mostly endangers other people.
