I was born at a very early age and now I'm here. Some things happened in between, but they're probably not important.

Cat Review #3 - they were enthralled by the Dawn of Man sequence, loved following the spaceships as they travelled and only really started to tune out right before the stargate sequence. Finley 7/10, Paiten 8/10.

These band / corporate link ups are getting ridiculous.

Still trading over 100 years later as one of those all-night wicker places.

Just arrived in the post - been after this one for a while. Paul "Fab Macca Wacky Thumbs Aloft" McCartney inventing fully-formed acid house in 1980, a full 7 or 8 years before everyone else invented it, and chucking it out on a limited edition 12". The tune is complete insanity, but I love it.

🚨NEW POLICY ANNOUNCEMENT🚨

All Evri executives to have their Christmas presents delivered by Evri, to see how they like it.

Love Christmas. Vote Binface.

I'd expect this sort of nastiness from the Tories, not Labour (or at least I would've until this current lot got into power). This government is a disgrace.
I'd hate to be a boat owner after this passes.

Imagine all the information that could be be useful for your navigation but which would ALSO be potentially useful to those guiding small boats across the Channel.

Will the Shipping Forecast cease broadcasting? That, after all, makes crossings easier.

Cat review - Big Trouble In Little China. Both cats walked out during the opening scene, and when they finally returned over an hour later they slept through the rest, the utter Philistines. Finley 0/10, Paiten 0/10.

Watching Father Ted’s a Christmassy Ted and remembered this nugget of pop trivia, the priest with the most boring voice Father Fitzgerald (Sean Barrett) in Ireland's largest lingeree section was the cover star of The Smith's single "How Soon is Now" a still from the 1958 film "Dunkirk".

This would be an incredibly stupid move if true. She's exactly the sort of MP I'd like to see representing my constituency because she's made herself a highly visible part of the community, and any attempt to dislodge her would end very badly for her challengers.
I don’t think I’m over interpreting but Polanski seems to hint quite strongly in his Rest is Politics podcast that he’s thinking of running against Stella Creasy in Walthamstow. Think that would be a pretty brave move (in the Sir Humphrey sense). One of the v few Labour with a genuine personal vote

No problem Mikey boy, it's not like your job requires you to be aware of anything that's happening so crack on.
RAJU: If defenseless survivors were killed, would that constitute a violation of the laws of war?

MIKE JOHNSON: I'm not going to prejudge any of that. I was pretty busy yesterday. I didn't follow a lot of the news.

This has immediately got my attention, and hopefully yours too.
BBC Four has Bod in its Christmas schedules, along with a new intro by Derek Griffiths.

Obviously this is impossible because Alan Moore looks like he's genetically a wizard, it's simply impossible to imagine what he would look like as a schoolboy oh there he is.

I'm starting to wonder if Chansiri found out about our record 30 points deduction in one season and challenged himself to beat it on his way out of the club. My sympathies to Sheffield Wednesday, it's awful going through a season with no chance of staying up. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/footba...
Sheffield Wednesday: Owls deducted six points as Chansiri banned
Sheffield Wednesday are given a further six-point deduction, with former owner Dejphon Chansiri receiving a three-year ban.

I'd say they should sue Hegseth for everything he has, but what would they do with a pile of terrible suits and a walk-in drinks cabinet?

Never mind the seventies, if I visited a chippie that looked like this *today* I know I'd be getting a ruddy good meal.
Just saw this excellent photo of a Glasgow High Street chippy from the 70s on the Lostglasgow FB page and felt the need to share it.

The Mad Men screenshot has been online for barely 20 minutes (at least as far as I know) and already we have the perfect use for it.
