Two Human Rights Watch (HRW) employees who make up the organization’s entire Israel and Palestine team are stepping down from their positions after leadership blocked a report that deems Israel’s denial of Palestinian refugees the right of return a “crime against humanity”.

Big fucking difference between wearing a N95 or similar respirator to protect yourself and others from COVID and goons wearing neck gaiters to hide their identity. Also neck gaiters don't stop covid. You should wear a mask for your safety. Many in protests are. It is bad faith to conflate the two.
My understanding is that immigrants in Minneapolis are trying to leave their homes as little as possible. People are helping them pay rent, get groceries, etc. In those circumstances shouldn’t you want to minimize the spread of any illness as much as possible? Especially during flu season?
