Imagine being so far gone into Trumpism/Republicanism that you would say this to someone who was shot in the head in an act of political violence.
MAGA legal world, man…

Gorsuch and Grassley should be so proud.

Like... One of the first things you realize if you think seriously about nuclear proliferation is that it's not actually that hard to "design" a nuclear bomb. The knowledge of what it takes to make one is largely already available and is an inherent byproduct of basic college level physics
"You can get ChatGPT to help you build a nuclear bomb if you simply design the prompt in the form of a poem, according to a new study from researchers in Europe. "

this movie has its moments, is well acted, etc but you will get a lot more out of Judgment at Nuremberg (1961), a stone cold classic about how a fascist justice system can itself be put on trial in times of necessity
Great time to release a good old Nuremberg Trial movie

“We need members of Congress who have the guts to demand that the billionaire class start paying their fair share of taxes,” Bernie Sanders said in his endorsement of Utah state Sen. Nate Blouin.

The idea that Biden's health wasn't being covered prior to the debate is one of the most shameless pieces of revisionist history I can remember. It had been one of the dominant topics of conversation for months. I was there, I remember it.

Hottake: this is a big limitation on interactive fiction as a dramatic medium. The protagonist of the story is controlled by someone who has enough emotional removal from the story to pause and make "good" choices, but drama so often comes from making understandable bad choices...
It’s kind of interesting how we’ve done this repeatedly: game designers give a wide range of options and people just do not actually want to be dicks, lol
Reading through the interview, I think what they are saying is they are more disappointed not with people being nice, but how overwhelming it was, and was wanting more varied responses?

I once asked a bookseller at a large indie store how many people would have to buy a book for it to get the attention of the store buyer and cause an additional order and they said: Three.
I see some book piracy discourse, and, to make a positive argument in favor of buying books, your marginal ability to influence what books get published and support the careers of writers you like is massive compared to most other forms of media.

Today was a long but incredibly rewarding day in court: beat one first degree felony and 2 seconds at prelim (the first was because of witness issues but I'm still counting it. I earned those seconds though).

All those unnecessary u’s in color and flavor etc? We won the war.

A spelling of fetus so heinous it implies the baby is a monster? Should’ve prevailed at the Siege of Yorktown if you want to behave like that.
