I’ve had one traditionally published book. No advance. First batch of royalties lasted abt 4 months. I live on a disability pension that covers my rent and a little for utilities. Food is scarce. I get a grant now and then, and when I don’t, it’s very rough.

The carceral state has multiple purposes, but one has ALWAYS been suppressing dissent in this country. You think we have the largest prison industrial complex in the world because we have that much crime? Our municipal police are larger, more well funded, and more heavily armed than most militaries.

Autism does not need to be cured! It's the rest of society that needs to be more accommodating!! Neurodivergence and disabilities cause suffering only because we have so little understanding or support. Treating it as something "broken" or "wrong" only enforces that, please just help people instead.

Yes, something that Israel does which is actually quite rare is consider all civilian workers, whether they be in municipal government or in private reconstruction or health sectors, to be combatants *by way of second, third, or even fourth degree association*.
Construction crews attempting to rebuild civillian infrastructure in Gaza or Southern Lebanon are also considered confirmed terrorists.
