Unrelated to the sheer awfulness of David Davis' 2005 "It's DD for me" campaign, the woman on the right is Fay Jones, who would go on to become Conservative MP for Brecon & Radnorshire in 2019. She was beaten by the Lib Dems in 2024.

The real breast scandal in British politics is David Davis promoting the outdated idea that DD is a huge bra size and not actually relatively small when correctly measured.

Hmmm.

Alaskan airbases are subject to permafrost melt and frost heave. As Arctic ice melts, that opens the Northern Sea Route and the Barents Sea for longer, with trade and resource access tensions. More traffic there accelerates warming and extreme events.

My thanks to @danielrooney.bsky.social who explains that B2 is equivalent to a good A level grade in a modern "foreign language" hence the A level reference.

But most people won't require that score it's just for people like doctors and church ministers
