Even the less annoying parts of this are still annoying, because she STILL seems to believe parents should have the right to demand medical treatment that's unlicensed in the UK, and surely she can't be a bad person for assuming she's entitled to that?!

I always ask the Little House on the Prairie question about images like this: Where does the cloth come from?

More widely: where do all of the surfaces you see come from? The paint? The roofing tiles? The metal for the robots? The windowpanes?

If it fails that, it fails before you look any deeper.

You can turn it off in “Language & Translations” in Settings. 🙅🏻‍♀️

I'm a Norwich resident and I am 100% on the Glitter Chickens' side (Okay but we're not calling them that. Tried it, didn't like it).

You know most of them are descended from carrier pigeons? It's an obsolete self-replicating communication system that has gone feral. They are cyberpunk AF.
An awful lot to think about here but the main thing I need to draw your attention to is that one click deep is the Peck Savers fb page, and do you know what they're calling them on there? That's right it's

I've worked on a wide variety of helplines, and still do.
Under 16s use social media to access support, including crisis support. Samaritans, childline, WA etc ALL offer live chat/social media outreach. I'm convinced this will get cut off.
how is 'social media' defined?

when i was a teen i was on usenet groups, irc, message boards.

all of those were social spaces.

how is the government defining this?

HELLO I WAS A QUEER TEEN IN THE 1990s AND THE ARGUMENTS AGAINST SOCIAL TRANSITION NOW ARE INDISTINGUISHABLE FROM THE ARGUMENTS AGAINST "LETTING" US BE (at the time, for me) GAY OR LESBIAN THEN.

They all rest on the belief that it's inherently better to be straight (then)/cis (now) and that's BS.
Hilary Cass here arguing for children to be prevented from being known by a preferred name or getting a haircut in case it encourages them to continue later in life to transition.

Hilary Cass acts like gender variant children should have the transness hazed out of them.

It's more than silly, it perpetuates the issue that's caused a good half of our current problems, where the ruling & media class truly believe it's worse to be a bit rude or sweary than to be a massive racist or homophobe or paedophile
It is legitimately so ridiculous that there is a category called “rude” here where the mods decide which grown ass adults are too rude- it’s so silly

That's what the schools and general trans guidance that was released the other day is about - deliberately making it too unsafe for people to come out as trans.

I'm not sure if it'll work much at all in schools - the kids these days are alright.
This social media ban stuff is designed to try and stop younger people coming out as trans isn’t it

The UK was declared measles free in 2017.

Vaccine programs completely eliminated it.

Since then, pro sickness conspiracy theorists and anti science idiots have enabled its return.
“Seven schools and a nursery have reported more than 60 suspected cases of measles in an area of north London, and labs have confirmed 34 cases since January 12. Some children have been treated in hospital.”
