Dumb-dumbs chasing that dollar. That said, it is kind of wild that twenty-three official Oz books, including the fourteen written by L. Frank Baum, are in the public domain, and no one's really taking advantage of that. They struggle to get past Wizard.

Despite creating two tv shows, there really isn't much income after you're done making them. In animation especially.
Because of how my income works, I am technically a business, so I don't get unemployment.
My wife has a full time job that isn't in entertainment. That's how I can do anything.

2. It's rare for any creative, including writers, to be able to live solely off their creative income. Moreover, there is no correlation between the creative value of art and the income status of its creator. It's okay to have another gig to eat and pay bills and survive our capitalist hellscape.

DOGE was not a money-saving effort. It was an effort to chase down and prove right-wing conspiracy theories. They went after USAID to prove conspiracy theories about foreign aid. Then they went after SSA to, again, pursue conspiracy theories about Dems paying "illegals" to vote. 1/2
All DOGE accomplished was purging critical government staff, handing private data to outsiders, and sentencing thousands in developing countries to death by gutting USAID.

Therapy is barely regulated and pretty much anyone can claim to be one in a lot of places. And even people with actual training and experience can be bad therapists and bad people!

"Some people deserve to be bullied" is always wild to see because it's so deliberately childish as to make it difficult to imagine the person saying it has the moral capacity of an adult human being.
