How to find all my links to all the stuff I'm doing across the internet

linktr.ee/acvalens
A lot of people on the left fail to reckon their role in making all the paypros stuff worsen, all the porn moral panics hit state and national legislatures. Like, yeah, a culture of treating goonery shit as indefensible created this current climate of social and financial censorship

"Well you see, women with large breasts are porny, women with small breasts are lolis, and anyone whose cup size isn't smack dab between a B and a C is womaning wrong." —some male games journos

Remembering the Dragon's Crown controversy being 75% men being uncomfortable on women's behalf, and many women not saying anything - very funny in retrospect!

Honestly, if this was the 2010s there would be all these insufferable cis male games journalists going “erm, isn’t this Isabella mod with the curves weird toward women?? 🤔“ and you’d have to keep to yourself knowing that the writer in question was, in fact, very weird toward women

One thing I appreciate out of all of this was the resistance against it. This "comedic" attitude surrounding kink shouldn't be what we carry over into the new year. Especially over a mod so tame?

So many (SFW) artists draw her with those proportions anyway and it's not questioned there.
I resent the idea that there needs to be a public discussion about whether it’s weird or that it needs to be discussed at all. I think we need to move into an era where people stop gawking at what people do sexually online

“It’s weird and you’re reading too much into me saying that” is all reactionary nonsense. Sexual expression is not weird. What’s weird is judging people off random horny mods
This is what sucks- I’ve seen several people going like “okay but it IS weird and it’s not a threat to say that” even though saying it’s weird implies wrongness and over time entrenches censorship and shit. They wanna be able to laugh but not get laughed at

Also very similar to the puritanical push that's been going on. "Horniness is weird. We should mock this weirdo" can very easily (and usually does) lead to "Any form of expressing sexuality should be illegal, even if it's not hurting anyone"
January 5, 2026 at 4:17 AM
Honestly it’s just immature and adolescent to peer into online sexuality and comment on whether it’s weird or not, just a mark of the perceiver’s sexual discomfort… those confident in their sexuality are not obsessing over what strangers do online to express themselves erotically

The 2010s gave birth to this cringe culture obsession where people fixate on whether people mod their video games to be sexy. The reality is a lot of people are quietly huge perverts and no amount of public discourse nor shaming will stop people from wanting Isabelle to have fat tits
January 5, 2026 at 4:10 AM
To be fair they are trying to make it illegal to goon (see age verification laws, Russ Vought insisting on banning porn to increase the birth rate, etc)
"how dare you think i'm weird for-" it's fine man, relax. a lot of common things are weird to other people. you'll be okay. weird isn't a moral quality. nobody is making it illegal to goon. take some deep breaths.

We have published the following update to our article following an email response from the New York Times.

Trans News Network has a policy against platforming bigotry. As such, we have declined to publish the Times' statement which included blatant transphobia.

one of the most backwards, sabotaging instincts in purportedly progressive spaces is the desire to find a random, powerless individual who many can agree is weird in an undesirable way and make them into a problem to be fixed, because they're easily harmed unlike the powerful villains of our world

I'd put it in a similar sense to alcohol in that regard..

Most people who drink a beer, are not going to become alcholics

But certain genetic factors, traumas, etc... can influence odds of becoming an alcoholic

I think its one of those things where

AI by itself isn't gonna make someone do something they wouldn't otherwise

But people who have various issues or inclination to something, it can drastically increase the risks of them losing connection and doing it

As more stories like this emerge, I rec ppl return to the original WSJ article discussing the psychosis risk factor with medical professionals. AI appears to be a trigger akin to drug use. I prefer this framing. Not everyone who takes a risky drug develops psychosis, but psychosis is a risk for some

A little bit desperate at the moment. I don't often plug my Throne, but this would be a huge help.

Been struggling with my current chair causing me pain. And now I can't stand up straight... would appreciate the help.
