Not only is it untrue. It's not even important. Brexit gave the far-right a big electoral victory, sure. But the press had already been telling people their base hatred was justified and have continued to do so since. Leaving a trading bloc didn't create a bunch of fascists, the commentariat did.

ULEZ might actually be the single best policy I've seen not just successfully implemented but aggressively pushed by a British politician in like, the last 10 or 15 years or so. Which is very depressing.
The thing about Sadiq Khan, is he is a middle of the road, melty lib politician who I wouldn't really have much time for generally, but because A) He has actually had positive impacts, ULEZ for example and more importantly B) is hated by the most evil people in the world, means I have his back a bit
