Pediatricians are facing an ethical dilemma: drop unvaccinated families to protect other patients or keep them and hope they change their minds. If we’re talking about free will, that goes both ways, doctors have the right and duty to protect their patients. Drop the families.

i insisted they didn't have to, that i was well familiar with the neighborhood having worked previously at vox which was in the same area and metro stop, but they insisted and we had a great conversation along the way. truly the best humanity has to offer imo.

I've met these two wonderful parents before. i was reporting on a roundtable discussion of trans parents held at the HRC HQ and then we all went out for dinner afterwards. after dinner Keisha and Sean insisted on walking me all the way to the metro stop to make sure i made it okay.

I feel thrown by the widespread proclamations of a glorious, lasting peace in Gaza. A lot even treats “now that it’s all over” as the unquestioned premise.

It still looks like a disaster to me. Am I way off? Are my domestic politics distorting my view? Either the consensus is wrong or I am.
