Bob Dole's 1996 acceptance speech was pretty right-coded but his view that even recent immigrants had the same access to the American dream as "direct descendants [transcript says "descents"] of the Founding Fathers," marks quite a contrast with Vance's blood and soil nationalism.

this is true but it goes even deeper than this, it’s not that they ‘don’t care’ about their kid, it’s they don’t care about their autonomany and only view their children as property and want to control them. its why we see the modern lavender panic, fears of “kids being transed”, from the far right
One of the things that's very difficult to really take to heart about MAGA conservatives is that you can't get them on hypocrisy about their children because they really don't give a fuck about their kids

Many Southerners view all of the racism and gay-bashing and women-hating as the point of voting for the GOP. You have to understand that many people willingly decide to do evil things because they think they are right. Stop attempting to exonerate them

What people are missing here is that there are some pretty grim reasons why MTG and other far right people prone to racist conspiracy theories might view the Epstein affair as the red line that pushes them against Donald Trump.
