Black sand banks in a lagoon seen from above. The ones near the bottom have yellow triangular shapes below them, whereas the ones at the top have longer yellowish sand patterns. Can't really describe, just a weird old view!

Turquoise icebergs at Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon.

The drone rules were changed here so that you can use a drone at certain places at certain times of the day, at certain times of the year! After 3pm in November, away from the car parks, is one of those :)

On this day last year I got the drone up over an off-the-beaten-track glacial lagoon - Hoffellsjökull. It was grey, miserable, and eventually raining, but I got a couple of shots before giving up!

Back to old #Iceland photos! Two different drone views of the same river braid area in the south-east - the first taken in June 2021 on the #DJIAir2S, the second in October 2024 on the #DJIMavic3Pro.

Sometimes I like to play around with inverting the colour on images - you get some interesting effects with the abstract river braid drone images...
