I propose November 1st as resurgence day. Halloween ends, and we all pick up the phones again. MasterCard and Visa, bare minimum, once per day. Every day. All of us. They are only hiring the usual number of holiday workers, this would frighten credit card companies. “It’s not going away”

The Jonas Brothers stage took up a standing room spot for fans. It's not like the field formed a backdrop to their performance. Most in the stadium could not see them perform from the other side because of cameras and lights that were set up between the band and the field. So why were they there?

Re Stand Up to Cancer, I've lost people I love to cancer. So yes, let's promote and fund prevention/treatment. But Mastercard had pretax income of $15.254 billion last year. Their penny-per-swipe donation is capped at $5 million per year. That's like somebody making $60K contributing $20.
