We finally all got our covid / flu shots yesterday and to varying degrees it took us all out
Kid2 got hit the hardest
But none of us could get any energy today for any length of time

Kid3 insisted I watch the 2018 The Grinch film adaptation, which I'd frankly been avoiding because I so deeply detest the Jim Carrey one
And he was right, this new one is totally going in my regular holiday rotation
It's a lovely and faithful adaptation, and an absolute treat for the eyes, too!

Had a talk with Kid3 last night who asked to install Snapchat as most of his friends exclusively use it to communicate
Texting is for old people apparently
We had a good discussion, but this whole "most kids have phones without SIM cards" thing blew me away
Am I the last person to know this??

if you still have a FB account - and let's be real, gang, most of us do - take my advice and request your data from it. it's not a hugely complicated process, and then you have all your photos etc. in case *barely a week later* you get locked out of your account.
