Seasoned with garlic dust. white_maple_lane_photography_ Roasted Chickpea & Veggie Flatbread with Lemon Tahini Drizzle (Plant-based, Nut-free, Dairy-free, Egg-free) Ingredients (serves 2-3) For the flatbread: 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained, rinsed & patted dry 1 small zucchini, sliced into half moons 2 medium carrots, cut into thin sticks or coins 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved 2 tbsp olive oil 2-3 tsp Tasty Tin Garlic Dust (divided) ** Salt & pepper, to taste 2-3 dairy-free flatbreads or pita rounds Fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped (for garnish) For the Lemon Tahini Drizzle: 3 tbsp tahini (sesame-based, nut-free) Juice of 1 lemon 1 tsp Garlic Dust 2-3 tbsp water (to thin) Pinch of salt Instruction Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Toss chickpeas, zucchini, carrots, and cherry tomatoes with olive oil, 1½ tsp Garlic Dust, salt, and pepper. Spread evenly on a lined baking sheet. Roast 20-25 minutes, shaking halfway through, until chickpeas are crispy and veggies are tender + golden. In a small bowl, whisk tahini, lemon juice, 1 tsp Garlic Dust, and water until smooth and pourable. Add salt to taste. Just before serving, warm flatbreads in the oven or skillet until soft and pliable. Top flatbreads with roasted chickpeas and veggies. Drizzle generously with lemon tahini sauce. Sprinkle with fresh parsley or cilantro. Slice into halves or quarters for sharing. Enjoy warm or at room temp. **No Garlic Dust on hand? Use 1 tsp garlic powder + a pinch of onion powder instead. But if you want the full flavor magic, Garlic Dust really makes it shine.

Bloated parasites, the result of Glopstepalof's early experiments now left to roam the land. They birth themselves from stagnant puddles and attach to warm creatures, lamprey mouths latching tight to moist flesh. Over three days they drain every drop of moisture from their host. Skin cracks and flakes, eyes raisin, until only a brittle, dessicated husk remains, collapsing to powder at a touch. The leech, swollen to the size of a wine cask, detaches and slithers back to Glopstepalof's tower, where it vomits its takings into the great cisterns buried deep in the foundations. SLAKE LEECH HP 4 Armour -d2 (rubbery hide) Morale - Once attached, test Strength DR14 to remove. Each day attached, lose d3 Toughness permanently as moisture drains away. At Toughness 0, you crumble to dust. Offer a leech 2 litres of fresh water and it releases its grip, slithering away distended and satisfied. Dead leeches contain stolen water worth 20s to alchemists. The cisterns, if found, hold enough water to flood a small valley.

It is very sophisticated and absolutely intoxicating. Manor is a blend of woody-vanilla musk coupled with an incredible vanilla and exquisite oud. The scent is sweet and rich due to the vanillas, woody and incensey from the oud blend and a touch of sandalwood. On initial application and coldsniff, the aloeswood is a little stronger than it is on the dry down. Manor settles down wonderfully. After hours on the skin it does smell much sweeter due to the vanillas, though the woody/incense element is still detectable. Unisex. Promptober Day 13: Abandoned Locations

This Mini-Dungeon can be played by itself or be the beginning of something bigger. You decide!
MINI-DUNGEON: THE MINE A four-room crawl through an abandoned mine that should’ve stayed sealed. ROOM 1 - THE COLLAPSED ENTRANCE A tangle of rusted beams and crushed carts seals the way out. The air is thick with dust and regret. Someone scratched “STAY QUIET” into the wall near a dead lantern. Note: Fresh air drifts from somewhere deeper. ROOM 2 - THE BREAK ROOM Benches overturned, metal lunch pails left mid-meal, a cracked radio faintly hissing under the static: “Don’t dig deeper.” Hazard: Every loud noise dislodges more debris from above or wakes something sleeping in the tunnels. Note: The miners’ lockers each contain a personal relic: a photo, a charm, or a note begging for forgiveness. ROOM 3 - THE BORE TUNNEL The tunnel widens into an unnatural chamber: walls slick with a black, glassy mineral. Tools left behind are warped, their handles softened like wax. Hazard: Anyone who touches the stone hears whispering in their own voice, repeating what they said earlier. Note: A survey map pinned to a beam marks “THE FIND”, a red circle around this very spot. ROOM 4 - THE DEEP SHAFT A vertical drop into darkness, supported by ancient timber and frayed rope. The ladder goes down farther than your light can reach. The End of The Beginning?: A heartbeat echoes from below. It’s slow, enormous, and rhythmic, like the earth itself is breathing. If players go down, they’ll find what the miners uncovered… but it won’t let them back up.

The “corn nuts” are NOT what you’re expecting — practically corn dust instead of the traditional giant kernels.
Virginia Peanuts are just … peanuts. VPs are very specific: extra large and whole. These were neither.

The Knife in the Sea A GMless murder mystery Central Library. A fresh corpse in the middle of the lobby. A perfect circle of blood pooling around it, with no visible wounds. A sharp, sweet scent in the air. On your turn, choose one: -Connect two or more prompts. Connections must start very simple, with 1-5 words. -Add detail to a prompt. -Add detail to a connection. -Change a prompt, e.g., “A scrap of paper with a phone number scrawled on it” becomes “A scrap of paper with a passcode scrawled on it”. -Play out a scene. You may assign characters to be played by certain players, with their approval. Write down notes on your investigation. Once you have assembled enough evidence, gather the crowd and explain what happened. Inspect the corpse Assorted items found on the victim’s body. -A scrap of paper with a phone number scrawled on it. -A ticket stub for a small movie theater’s showing of The Diver and the Void. -A large coin. Very buff. -Lyelin, a young fishing scout. Has piercing eyes. Explore the library One of the oldest and largest institutions in the city. -A large statue of the One Divided. Its many eyes always look right at you. -A painting of the city by a local artist. Painted entirely in different greens. -The main elevator. Contains an altar to the Winged Door, and has historical preservation status due to its gravity mechanism. -The restricted section. Access requires a class 4 permit and a senior librarian supervising at all times. The grimoires of P______ are under a further level of security. -The lobby tiles. Carved from fossilized scales excavated deep beneath the city. -The reading nook behind the far shelves. Where teenagers go to make out. -Day use facilities. Lockers, showers, and bathrooms mainly, although food and supplies are usually stocked by one group or another. -The docks. For patrons traveling to the library by sea. The earliest form of the library was a set of scrolls hidden in the grotto that would later become the docks. -A simple cafeteria. No frills, but spacious. Lots of kids playing trading card games. -A tree of knowledge. The first planted in the city, in the middle of the rooftop garden. A gift from a lizard king. -The good bench. It’s comfortable and in the shade. Detect magic That smell. And something lingering in the air, almost heavy. -Local gravity shift affecting one of the lobby tiles. -Golden dust sprinkled throughout the victim’s hair. -A red fish drawn in one of the bathroom stalls. Occasionally moves to a different stall. -A ball of moss. Perfectly round and warm to the touch. -A light breeze circling the building. -A sharp, sweet scent. Somewhere between citrus and battery acid with a hint of warm spices. -A vision of a stranger. The children who were in the library say they saw someone standing over the corpse. No one else can see this. -White feathers scattered around the tree of knowledge.
