Trying to catch up on some work today but a poster on reddit says they have "overwhelming evidence that horses used to lay eggs," so that's where my next few hours are going.

Miscarriage took all day. It's emotional, painful & messy. Gross, actually. An entire day on toilet. Some on the floor as I lay in the fetal position, trying to quell my cramps & contractions.

Stede is glad of the candlelight hiding the trembling of his hands. It’s theatre, nothing more; a game between fellows who’ve only recently come to an uneasy friendship. But Izzy has played his part with an easy willingness that both delights Stede and frightens him. A song? Stede had suggested half-jokingly over two drinks too many. And a costume, perhaps? I have… oh, it’s silly. Well, you could pull it off. If anyone could, it would be you… And now they’re here, in the cosy darkness of the Great Cabin, just the two of them. No sound but Izzy’s sweet tenor and the thump of Stede’s heart. Oh once I slept on a feather bed With blankets woollen warm Now I’m glad to lay my head On a cloak that’s old and torn… The Revenge creaks around them in sympathy for the sweet ballad. The moon shimmers on the restless waves, swaying to the melody like a lovelorn doxy. And oh, it’s the drink, it’s the demon drink on an empty stomach, but Stede could almost believe he is in the presence of one of the great singers of the metropolitan stages. He’s never been to the London opera, of course, being nothing more than a colonial yokel, but he’s read such descriptions of the beautiful young tenors who outshone even the castrati. Izzy is by no means young - in body or in grizzled spirit - but, well, Stede’s spirit is stirring. Hence he’s hiding behind the drinks trolley, pretending to charge their cups with Madeira. Izzy leans against the window casement, dark hair piled high. He sings as if Stede isn’t even here, his head lolling, eyes closed in languor, a candy smear of lilac powder on the fluttering lids. So sing with me a merry catch As summer days will come My love he is a soldier boy So I’m following the drum… And then there’s the matter of the costume. Wide skirts, like a sail caught in a fair wind. Waist small, insectile, cinched by ribbons crisscrossing like strokes of the lash, skimming Izzy’s sides, up, up, as the muscle swells to the crescendo of high, round pectorals mounting the edge of the bodice in a display of dark hair and tanned flesh. Lilac satin. Lilac, the sweetest blossom of the heathland - again, a wild place Stede had never laid eyes on - but he has read the perfume of the lilac can hide even the deepest rot. The colour is simply perfect on Izzy’s weathered complexion. Dainty, flattering, even coquettish, particularly the matching ribbon circumnavigating his throat. All his rottenness forgiven. Stede licks his dry lips. Act casual, he steels himself. Izzy will be enjoying this. The audience, yes, but perhaps also the silky drawers with the split crotch nestled safe under foaming layers of petticoats. Following the drum. All gentlemen know the grime that pretty euphemism hides. The wives and the mistresses of the soldiers follow not the drum, but their men. And when their men leave them or die on the battlefield, the faithless harlots simply choose another. Oh sup with me on a scraggy fowl And dream of sugar plums My love he is a soldier boy So I’m following the drum. The gentle husk of Izzy’s voice almost convinces Stede of the narrative. The note of devoted resignation carries beautifully in the night air. Stede couldn’t say why he’s hiding back here, unsteady behind the trolley where the song can touch him, but not… well. Touch him. “It’s a tearjerker,” Izzy told him earlier over their unwise drinks. “Working girls spin a sad tale of their wayward lover in the hope a kindly gentleman’ll take pity on them for them night.” “And does it work?” Stede had asked him, topping up their cups. ”A lie like that?” As he tipped back his cup, Izzy’s smile didn’t quite warm his eyes. “Who said anything about a lie?” At the casement, Izzy’s gloved right hand finds his black heart, buried beneath layers of lilac satin and lace as he croons the final verse. I’m lame and tired before my time And still I follow him along. Oh I’m lame and tired but still I smile And still I follow him along.

He is struggling to keep himself upright due to the weight of the eggs in his uterus, as shown by the x-ray pop up behind him, and he leans against the wall to catch his breath. (Oviposition, eggpreg) Tenna (mostly of screen) helps Bugsy lay his eggs by gently massaging the egg through his ovipositor, and action that greatly arouses him. (Oviposition, egg laying) Tenna sits Bugsy in his lap, kneeling at his stomach to push and coax the pipis out of him. Each on falls into a small gooey pile on the floor in front of them. A two panel comic after Bugsy is done laying with him laying on the floor on top of Tenna, absolutely exhausted with many pipis on the floor surrounding them. In Panel 1, Tenna looks flustered, saying "GOD Spammy... that was SO hot!" In panel 2, he smiles sheepishly while asking "Though next time, could you maybe... pit them inside of me?" Too which Bugsy responds with an annoyed expression.
