Fighting through it today. Wanted to pull up the planks that squeak and dip before nice carpet is put in, only to find broken and abused flooring.
I'm no #DIY master, but it does look like it's been pulled up before to do electrical work and poorly put back.
Think these nails are biblical.

It's Saturday and I've got to get some Christmas shopping and do craft club.
Going to the local CGS to get a Pokémon starter set for the nephew, then the toy shop for Playdough and Lego.
Gotta use the credit card as it's real tight this year buying paint for DIY.
At least craft club is only £5

Ok so managed to get a bit of time in pre-searing Ascalon getting to grips with the new controller input using a fresh Monk character "Palliative Care"
I do like it, but I'm getting newborn deer levels of uncoordination 😅
