Senators on the brink of retirement who lived full, wealthy lives and never feared the loss of their own healthcare voting for their constituents to die from their inability to afford the same is treasonous

Maggie Hassan needs to be primaried by a real Democrat who will actually put NH citizens first. Shaheen has been a not great senator for a long time & is retiring. Real Dems do what's best for the citizens they represent.

This makes ZERO sense. They’re not credible partners in governing. How have you missed this? Bipartisan? Good grief

A dark day for New Hampshire's citizens. We've been abandoned by our "Dem" senators. Shaheen clearly doesn't care, but presumably Hassan will attempt to run again. She votes with Rs so often no NH Dem should vote for her. #demscaveagain

Tonight’s Senate vote on the federal government shutdown should have been a time for strength.

Instead we saw capitulation and a betrayal of working Americans.

The American people need more from their leaders.

so ridiculous, filing taxes can be very daunting, and the automated tax filing was a real help to people
The "Department of Government Efficiency" eliminated the most efficient thing the federal government has come up with in decades.

All so a few billionaire donors can make more money.
This will be very unpopular and serves only to help Trump's billionaire friends.

Did you know that in Canada, if a budget doesn’t pass the government doesn’t shut down?

Federal workers aren’t furloughed.

Funding for social services doesn’t dry up.

Failure to pass a budget triggers an election.

It puts the politicians jobs on the line.

They get the budget passed.

They’re wearing masks so they can’t be prosecuted later. As long as they think they can’t be prosecuted, their crimes will intensify. They will torture, starve and kill, as they have already, on greater and greater scale.

Signed, someone who’s covered the unaccountable War on Terror for 23 years.
I’ve come to believe that we need to gather considerable forces and a campaign to demand the removal of face masks by ICE, Border Patrol, FBI and police.

It is a practice in conflict with the principles of transparency & accountability that are central to the concept of democracy.

These should be the demands from the Democrats:

> Adelita Grijalva must be sworn in
> The Commanders new stadium will be named after Biden
> Restore all SNAP benefits
> Leave in place all Obamacare subsidies
> The new ballroom must be named after Pelosi

This is because Intuit, Inc. gave Donald Trump $1,000,000 for his "inauguration." Intuit owns Turbo Tax, which makes money off charging taxpayers to file their returns.

The corruption is rampant and in plain sight.

Capitulation, not breakthrough. Dem leadership is not up to meeting this moment.
From what I have seen so far this does not seem like a good deal:

Any Democrat voting for this should be primaried as quickly as possible because they're stupid, aren't capable of recognizing they're winning, are incapable of representing their constituents, and are cowards not up to this era's challenges.
Senate Democrats asked for a year of ACA subsidies and were told to fuck off.

So they came back and asked for a pinky promise to hold a vote on ACA subsidies that they will assuredly lose?

Seriously?
From what I have seen so far this does not seem like a good deal:
