BREAKING: One of three teenagers shot near Evergreen High School has died, a St. Anthony Hospital spokesperson said. They did not say which of the three injured students, which included the alleged shooter, died.

I assume he meant he was fine with others dying so he could keep his own guns, but the kindest interpretation would be he was so steadfast in his love for the 2A that he himself would die for it. With that version actually happening, it really puts into relief what a hollow thing that is to die for.

Implying that we need to win on the issue in order to support trans rights further implies that trans people aren’t worth protecting if it’s a losing issue. That’s a fucking monstrous thing to say and any Dem who expresses that idea should be exiled to Antarctica
That is making it an issue you can win on. I’ve seen no evidence of this, though. (Yelling at people you disagree with curiously doesn’t move the needle.)
Protecting trans rights will require basic moral decency. I don’t give a single tin shit whether it’s “an issue we can win on.” If the window is moving right, work to move it back
