Maybe instead of “Abolish ICE” Democrats can run on “we will fire everyone in ICE, hire our own people, and use them on Republicans just as Trump used them on everyone else.”

Make these people shit themselves.

When Democrats folded in the last government shutdown—rescuing the GOP majority from itself and helping them pass a budget, giving validation to the Trump administration’s lawbreaking—the savvy politics knowers explained that folding was clearly worth it because it got the Epstein Files released.
No federal judge has the power or authority to make DOJ comply with the mandatory provisions of the Epstein Act, says Pam Bondi. It's unenforceable and meaningless. Essentially, DOJ is a lawless if not criminal enterprise, not a law enforcement agency, at this point.

Trump didn't earn a Nobel prize, but if you think that's a big knock, you misunderstand.

It's like when Putin stole a Super Bowl ring from Bob Kraft. The appeal is not that Putin thinks he personally won a big football game. The appeal is "look, I took this and no one could stop me, it's mine now."
Here's how Vladimir Putin stole a Super Bowl ring from the Patriots' Robert Kraft
The Patriots owner only has three of his four Super Bowl rings. Putin has the other one

It’s only been four days since I had to say this but Democrats don’t have an enthusiasm problem; they have a Chuck Schumer problem. He is literally why Democrats aren’t popular. It has never been more clear what is damaging this party and Democrats just don’t care

bsky.app/profile/augu...
I doubt it’s the main point people want to derive from this, but it is astonishing how nobody outside our own social media circles wants to point out the blatantly obvious, which is the biggest drag on the overall appeal of the Democratic Party is unambiguously Chuck Schumer

There is no difference between this level of professional malfeasance and Dianne Feinstein having literal dementia. It’s insane how many democrats think this is fine. There is nothing more important to them than their precious norms and never having to have an actual moral stance on anything

Two days ago it was Elissa Slotkin. Last week it was Jerome Powell. Before that, Mark Kelly. Weaponizing the justice system against your opponents is an authoritarian tactic.

The only person not being investigated for the shooting of Renee Good is the federal agent who shot her.
Breaking news: The Justice Department has issued subpoenas for Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey as part of an investigation alleging that they are impeding federal law enforcement officers’ abilities to do their jobs in the state.

(She also turns 82 years old next week!)
I have the utmost respect for Senator Kaine and Senator Warner but we do not need “coaching” on redistricting coming from a cuck chair in the corner. How about you all stay focused on the fascist in the White House and let us handle redistricting in Virginia. 10-1

Actually I'm wrong. They said that it has a big audience but there's nothing they can do so they have to mostly ignore it.

this is why i roll my eyes when liberals cheer on jessica tarlov. she exists on fox news to give the appearance of "both sides" and when they surround her with yelling it validates to the fox viewer that the liberal "doesnt really have an argument." then she gets her paycheck from rupert.
And they would bring on 'liberal commentators' but it was all an act, a shadow play, to keep them hooked as they told them 'you're right, they're wrong, it's so obvious, the real problem is Y...'

Trump is privately worried about the "optics" of ICE raids and his advisers are looking for ways to soften them, Axios reports. I'm calling bullshit: The terror and violence cannot be hived off from the broader policy agenda. They are 100% intrinsic to it.

So the president doesn’t like the “optics” of what ICE is doing. But there’s no such thing as sanitized, popular mass deportations—and this is by design.

This is an answer nobody would ever accept from a democrat. A democrat who gave this answer would be ruthlessly mocked until the end of time. Yet Trump and Republicans get away with it without so much as a follow-up.
Q: Can you explain how your healthcare plan will affect premiums?

TRUMP: It's a tremendous thing. It's called the great healthcare plan. And we're gonna get tremendous, uh, reductions through, uh, if you look at prescription drugs, they're gonna come down by numbers that have never been seen before

January 16, 2026 at 7:38 PM
Body cams would not have prevented Renee Good's murder. It's not even clear that it would increase accountability. The problem is that the current regime supports ICE's brutality.

"De-escalation training" would just be a way for some of the worst ICE agents to get some overtime.
