A criminal government, combined with presidential pardoning power, means these people can do whatever they want without danger of consequences. Ever.
No federal judge has the power or authority to make DOJ comply with the mandatory provisions of the Epstein Act, says Pam Bondi. It's unenforceable and meaningless. Essentially, DOJ is a lawless if not criminal enterprise, not a law enforcement agency, at this point.

I don’t think people quite understand that the occupation by ICE in the Twin Cities has more or less erased non-white people from public life. They cannot safely exist in any space accessible to the public and moving between private places leaves folks vulnerable to kidnapping by armed masked goons.

World class troll.

I just cannot understand how this is legal. Seriously. This surely violates about two dozen laws and several articles of the constitution. Any lawyers out there that can explain?
Lets also point about here that NBC didnt want to bother with confirming this persons citizenship and instead just lazily did a "she says" framing in favor of the administration
Here’s one example of many. She showed ICE a Maryland birth certificate and immunization records. Maryland confirmed the birth records are legit.

ICE kidnapped her for nearly a month, over Christmas. She has a 5-year-old!
They still claim she isn’t a citizen. www.nbcwashington.com/news/local/m...

This is exactly it. @jeremycorbyn.bsky.social
Corbyn was alarmed that early Putin might move Russia closer to the West. He didn’t and instead ramped up the repression and strangled the last vestiges of Russian democracy. Corbyn, relieved, lapsed into silence

Frightening stuff. But just to be clear for the numerically challenged: this does NOT mean europe should further cripple its industrial production by imposing more restrictions.

Whenever trump is on the right side of any issue (as he is in this case), ask yourself why.
The answer is always religion.
Hence china is an enemy but russia isn't.
This is a religious crusade. Not for him of course, but for those pulling the strings.
Senile Satan says he’s willing to help protesters in Iran. In the US, he gets you murdered.

What a bunch of dumbasses.

The best part of these scumbags selling their soul to trump is when they are invariably cast aside.
This is delicious.
The WSJ reports that Trump is fed up with Bondi’s failure to lock up his prime targets - Comey and James and 2020 election officials - and blames her for the Epstein files not going away.

Trump’s mistreatment of his vilest vassals is one of the few things I appreciate about him.
Exclusive: President Trump has privately ramped up criticism of Attorney General Pam Bondi, describing her as weak and ineffective.

I do think this was spot on:

“When a federal officer gives you instructions, you abide by them and then you get to keep your life” is a perfect description of an authoritarian police state.

Varoufakis is truly an elite level PoS.
These fucking people. 🤮
Yanis can't understand that people say he's a "Putin stooge" just cos he says our invasion is illegal & insane, and then offers the exact same excuses for it we do, which he pretends are not as insane & wrong as the invasion is.

LFG! About time somebody makes a fucking stand.
Philadelphia sheriff Rochelle Bilal:

“No law enforcement professional wears a mask…No law enforcement professional shoots at a moving vehicle.

“What Trump’s private army is doing…is not only against legal law, but moral law.”

Vows to arrest agents on site who commit crimes.

they didn’t leak it to make the shooter look innocent, but to make the victim look guilty. not guilty of a crime. guilty of having a visibly queer wife. guilty of liberalism. guilty of opposing the regime. they don’t seek to exonerate themselves, only to demonstrate who deserves to die.
In the video that the shooter took, which I believe was leaked to be exculpatory, he appears to yell “fucking bitch” after he shoots Renee Good.

The problem, as ever, is that it is precisely the angry psychopaths that are attracted to this kind of job.
I think it is probably a bad idea to put clearly unhinged, angry psychopaths in federal law enforcement positions.
January 9, 2026 at 4:03 PM
100%. It is also 100% clear from the video that she backs up in order to turn precisely to avoid "running over" the officer, who then moves back into her path so that the vehicle makes light contact that gently pushes him out of the way as she drives off.
So when authorities say “she tried to run over an officer,” that is not a neutral description. It is a claim of intent that can be used to justify lethal force after the fact.

When the state kills first and invents the threat afterward, it is not policing, it is death squad behavior. /end

yup
Honestly, Pope Leo should just excommunicate the son of a bitch. Don’t let him claim the Catholic mantle.
Editorial in the National Catholic Reporter: "The vice president's comments justifying the death of Renee Good are a moral stain on the collective witness of our Catholic faith. His repeated attempts to blame Good for her own death are fundamentally incompatible with the Gospel."

This is the only point where I disagree. I think trump and his inner circle know full well what putin is doing. They just feel that it is his right to do so and that they are not going to stand in his way. Everyone is allowed their "sphere of influence". Hence Venezuela, Cuba, Greenland, etc
January 7, 2026 at 2:25 PM
Exactly.
Everyone apart from the Americans understands this, and all of this is being done to demonstrate to the Trump administration that they are trying to make Trump's peace proposal a reality.

This process is heading for an immediate collapse the moment the Russians respond.
January 7, 2026 at 10:36 AM
This is the correct interpretation, unfortunately.
The American people electing Trump after he staged a coup attempt 5 years ago was a nail in the coffin of our democracy. You can rationalize it all you want - But inflation! But wokeness! - but ultimately it was a societal suicide attempt and probably the dumbest collective voting decision ever made
