Pretty sure Wuthering Heights would be getting a lot better reviews if they’d used my theme tune that I sent them.

Yes, I know I’m just singing Wuthering Heights to the tune of Blankety Blank but it’s catchy as fuck and will let everyone know they’re in for a good time at the flicks.

Every child needs to hear this, and remember it, as a teen, as an adult, when they are very old.

Rest in Power Rev. Jesse Jackson
Rev. Jesse Jackson's "I *am* somebody..." remains one of the all-time great pieces of 20th century rhetoric / agitprop

And he could deliver it at a Black separatist meeting, the Democratic National Convention, or on god-blessed Sesame Street (see below 🥹)

RIP to the Voice of the Voiceless

As of today, Coronation Street has been airing for 65 years, amassing around 11,608 episodes in that time. If you were paid $15m for each and every one of those episodes you would still be $2.9bn poorer than Jeff Bezos was in 2020. (He is now $60bn richer than that, but I refuse to do more sums).

Victoria Derbyshire empathy and interview style are really exceptional. Madame Pelicot was quite incredible. I do not remember when I last heard a victim of such a heinous crime that lasted for years speak without a hint of hate for all she and the rest of family were put through.
Bravo to both!

“Your guy is late.”
“It’s only been five minutes, chill.”
"Something doesn't feel right."
“Everything’s fine, Dave.”
"You sure this is the spot?"
"Yes."
"And you know this guy is cool?"
"Yes, just relax."
"Don't give him the money until-"
"Until I see the kibble, yes I know."

The wonderful thing about Tyggers
Is Tyggers are burning bright
Their tops are made out of rubber
In the forest of the night

What bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy,
Immortal hand or eye
Did frame the most wonderful thing about Tyggers,
Their fearful symmetry!

I rang in sick for work, not because I was ill, but because our cat, who has never once given me a second of affection, fell asleep tucked into my lap. There was no way I was moving anywhere.

Franzi Schimmer captured this Grizzly bear in Brooks Falls, Alaska just floating along, tippy-tapping down the river, browsing the salmon.

Prior to hibernation, up to 40% of a bear's body mass is fat, which is less dense than water (~0.9 g/cm^2), so the murder-monster is also a floaty-boaty.

Just checking, it's now ok to flee your homeland, because you're afraid for your safety, and seek refuge in another Country?

Glad we've cleared that up. Let's hear no more about immigration and refugees then.

Hey lads. Come here. Just watching Small Prophets. You know, that thoughtful, sweet comedy you've given someone time and money to make. How about you invest in more people that have nice ideas and maybe nurture a new generation of voices? Just an idea, like.

Nadhim Zahawi thinks London is now unsafe, because the other day a tired-looking man walked past him during the morning rush hour.
