The phrase “without setting up housing” is (perhaps unintentionally) putting the onus on the immigrants — while not acknowledging the vast myriad reasons why a person coming to this country would not have been able to “set up housing.”
Homelessness increased primarily because of immigration (lots of people came to the US without setting up housing).

even if there wasn’t a victim who was a trans girl, taking people’s healthcare / ability to decide on their healthcare in conjunction with their doctor without the state interfering is not a distraction btw
the trans panic, legislation of transmisogyny, etc. is not "distracting from the epstein files", it entrenches the sexual abuse. transphobia towards trans kids always entails sexual abuse, by families & states. one of epstein's first victims was a trans girl, ava cordero, who was not believed
