After his interception, Bears QB Caleb Williams went 5-of-7 passing for 62 yards and a touchdown, including two third-down conversions and one fourth-down conversion.
This is the second time since 2006 (at Arizona) the Bears won when their QB completed less than 50% of his passes and had a passer rating below 60. The other was the 2024 season opener.

The wind played a role tonight, but once again, Caleb Williams made his completions count.

Per TruMedia, the Bears' 281 rushing yards are the most any Vic Fangio-coached defense has given up from 2018-2025. They also had 1.77 Adjusted Yards before Contact and a 0.18 EPA/designed rush, both 3rd most given up by a Fangio defense over that same time period

It’s so important for a successful NFL head coach to be 25% sociopathic

The Popular Front against the rest of the NFC NorthEast served its purpose but the Bears Liberation Army had to finally break from the Kuominteagles to achieve total victory

the biggest problem with this take is the label “doomer;” I’m actually incredibly optimistic about the chances of making a better world, I just understand what will and won’t be part of that change
I find the 'the Democrats won't do anything' doomer line annoying, because the Democrats will be who you make them - look how much the GOP changed over the past decade!

Right now the party feels immovable but the moment it has a presidential nominee, it will be whatever that person is.
