This will sound wild, but I have a feeling if it wasn’t a narrative game and had a bunch of generic FPS shootbang gameplay in there, along with a puzzle-solving sidekick who voiced all the things they morally disproved of; it would’ve passed, because I’ve seen worse in Metro, Farcry and Outlast.
