The scariest thing about The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is how long I get that "Fool for a Blonde" song that plays in the van during the hitchhiker scene stuck in my head after watching it

I've been a BIG booster of Hobbs and believer in his upside for a long long time. I think AEW messed up by not cementing him as a main eventer. I'm not optimistic about WWE doing better by him given its recent record, and it's an atrocious company run by fascists. That's where I come down on it. 🤼
Powerhouse Hobbs is in that next up group with Takeshita and Fletcher. Heat him up properly and he's a world champion.🤼

The Death Riders seem fully on board the Jon Moxley train once again, and honestly I'm fine with it. That face turn was so effective that you probably are better off having people like Garcia and Marina join it rather than fight it. 🤼

I'm watching this Anthony Bowens/Jack Perry match, and Bowens's presentation has changed. It's much more straightforwardly face, from the pyro to the scissoring. I guess they felt the little reconciliation program they did with Max Caster shook the cobwebs off the character. Crowd seems into it! 🤼

I just watched the Fletcher/Takeshita reunion from last night's Collision. A new contender has entered the fray 🤼
This Swerve/Hangman segment is the most KISS HIM thing I've ever seen in pro wrestling 🤼

Since I'm covering six shows a week starting tonight, I think I'll start doing a Sunday morning wrap-up on here. I resumed my rewatch of Twin Peaks with a review of the Season 2 premiere, one of the best episodes of TV ever aired, for @popheist.com (gift link)
'Twin Peaks' 2x01 Recap: "May the Giant Be With You"
If you called 'Twin Peaks' Season 2, Episode 1 one of the greatest season premieres of all time, you’d be telling the truth.

Between Mamdani and Spanberger, the establishment of "instantly repeal all the bullshit the last pig put in place" as Democratic priority #1 for both democratic socialists and ex-CIA types is an extremely heartening development.
The first thing Virginia Spanberger did after being sworn in as Governor of Virginia was repeal Youngkin’s executive order requiring state and local law enforcement to cooperate with ICE.

This is the kind of leadership Democratic governors nationwide should be emulating.

"Can't you assholes see I'm an ally??"
I am not standing down. I am pissed. People in Minnesota have treated me like shit for helping out. The attacks are still coming 24 hours later. I let it go this am thinking all of you had more to do than attacking someone helping you but I was wrong, and so I am fighting.

Grizzled Young Veterans are good wrestlers for Eddie Kingston to work with. He always looks and works best against really crisp technicians. 🤼

We've been watching the 1983 BBC adaptation of Jane Eyre, with Timothy Dalton as Mr. Rochester, and his performance is frankly revelatory. I feel like I "get" him as a person in a way I haven't elsewhere.

I wasn't nuts about that Andrade squash. He came across like a guy who was wasting time, not an unstoppable beast. Looks great though, and the bit where he revealed he's no longer doing figure fours was funny. 🤼

'The Fog' may be a Play the Hits kinda movie where ghost stories are concerned, but it is made with extraordinary care and precision. @awalrusdarkly.bsky.social champions this underrated John Carpenter classic
