📌URGENT: Trump's regime is trying to turn Stars & Stripes into state-run media.
I was the ME of S&S.

It's MANDATED BY CONGRESS to be an editorially independent paper that reports ON the troops FOR the troops.

So I type this with precision: The draft-dodging, America-attacking slob can KISS MY ASS.
Pentagon says it will ‘refocus’ Stars and Stripes content
The Pentagon suggested it would take over editorial decision making for Stars and Stripes, which has long retained independence under a congressional mandate.

Agents took his phone, which he tracked to a used electronics vending machine near an ICE detention center.

Yes: ICE is stealing and selling people’s things after brutalizing them. There are no words.

Trump is letting Mississippi get away with a massive welfare scandal that channeled money to Brett Favre and others.

The state was supposed to pay $100 million for allowing embezzlement from a federal program for needy families.

But the penalty was dropped.

The First Baptist Church in Providence was built in 1774–75, put into use just after the Revolutionary War began.

John Crane and Ebenezer Stevens, part of the Boston Tea Party, were carpenters who moved to Providence to work on the building as the Crown shut down Boston’s port.
This sign, "The Gospel Is Anti-Fascist," is at the First Baptist Church in America, in Providence, R.I.

Oh God, this is good news. I had been trying to bring myself to blog about this trial, but every time I was too enraged to get something together.

This was a hideously stupid and unethical idea, and no one promoting it should have anything to do with medicine or public health.
BREAKING: The controversial hepatitis B vaccine trial in Guinea-Bissau has been *cancelled,* I can now report. A senior official with Africa CDC confirmed the cancellation and said GB officials are working to make sure any research is conducted ethically:

Another thing you should know about the Twin Cities, if you're not here, is that while the mayor and governor tell us to stay calm on TV, our council members and other local electeds are on the street patrolling and protecting neighbors, doing mutual aid, and otherwise serving the community.

No one believes this is how our laws work—not even the ppl saying it. They are consciously willing a new arrangement of power into existence, one that sweeps away sovereign states, civil rights, courts…a revolution.

They are calling upon a paramilitary force to impose this vision upon us.

Treason
Explain to me like I'm five what the 2nd Amendment is for if not for this. King George III never said anything this obnoxious or deliberately inflammatory.

Dear ICE officers: contrary to what mini-Himmler tells you, your immunity protection is not nearly that concrete nor automatic. It is very fact-dependent and can absolutely be overcome.

Himmler won't be there with you when you get in trouble. You'll be on your own.

Remember your oath.

EO 13848 was written to defend America from attack — and to punish foreign enemies for meddling in our elections. Trump is trying to repurpose it as a tool to attack democracy from within. If he tries, we’re going to sue him into oblivion.

Trump say he has the power to "seize" ballots. But I co-wrote the order — and he's lying.
In an interview this week, the president said he wished he'd seized ballot boxes in 2020. However, he doesn't have anywhere close to the power to do so, as he claims.
