I once saw Ken Levine go into a library and systematically tear out every other page in every other book, eating each page as he went along. The librarians told me they had quit trying to stop him months ago.
i know we talk a lot about misinformation and stuff these days but it’s actually okay to make up bad stuff about ken levine. One time i saw him grab the groceries out of a lady’s car in the parking lot of a grocery store then he drove to the ocean and threw them in the ocean.

Personally I think it is totally fine that an oligopoly of two powerful American platform companies get full discretionary control to decide what game content is allowed to be financially feasible and what game content isn't allowed to be financially feasible.

I had no interest in playing Horses, but the active censorship of the game has made me decide to buy and play it

God, this is also so true for my work in community based mental health. I basically only talk about the “real stuff” with my coworkers or folks in parallel fields. No need to give people third hand trauma. I do also keep some “funny stories” in my back pocket for the questions though.
Well meaning people like to ask “what’s the worst thing you’ve seen” to EMTs and hoooooo boy they would not be happy to get an honest answer (I usually say “the worst things are extremely sad, here’s more of a wacky/funny one”
What’s the worst question someone can ask after you tell them your profession? For linguists, it’s definitely “how many languages do you speak?”, but I’m curious what else is happening to the rest of y’all out there?!
