This gave me instant panic-soaked flashbacks. Circa 2006-ish, loads of large ad agencies & studios swapped out their big clunky CRTs for exciting new, flat LCD monitors. All with the worst colour gamut imaginable...

Yep. Everyone looks at these things backwards. They’re trying to start off with something that can only happen organically. It’s just like all the NFT dipshits, trying to make a popular brand, but forgetting to have any product or service.

Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing?
2? Questions
I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up.
Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?

Absolutely over the moon to learn that 'DUCKS' will be screening, in competition, at the 38th Foyle Film Festival!

Mind-bogglingly, this is the second Academy Award qualifying and seventh BAFTA qualifying festival has made it into, to date 🤯

Common Side Effects is SO good! I got to meet Joe Bennett in Berlin a couple of years ago. He had a brand new baby & I was telling him that something YOU had said always stuck with me during those insane tiny baby times… That having kids was so great, that you & your wife had more, on purpose ❤️
