It's really cool that you are part of the reason why Trump is back in office. I hope you're proud of yourself. Look at all this shit, man. Look at it. This is worse than an aging Biden? Wow.
DOJ has since killed this link. This is what was there:

Strongly disagree, the point of these protests is to show that we are not afraid of them and that there are far too many of us for them to shut down the protests through harassing individual attendees.
If you've given biometrics to TSA (Pre-Check and Global Entry members) and you plan to attend a protest, you should wear a medical mask.

the arrest of journalists in minneapolis, including don lemon, is more evidence that the only move the administration knows how to make is to use force, and does not know how to respond when that force is met with defiance and indifference.

Yeah, a lot of so-called moderates really do not understand that you cannot negotiate with MAGA--not just because that would be moral cowardice, but also because you literally cannot negotiate with them. They have one goal, and it is the elimination from civic life of anyone who is unlike them.
We can't surrender. And I don't mean that in a rah-rah, go team Captain America speech sort of way. I mean we literally can't surrender because there is no negotiated outcome which they find favorable to breaking more and more and more. There is no zone of possible agreement.

me? oh yeah, fine. I'm doing great. just sort of left my body for a second to observe the current moment and my place in it from a high angle, sort of like what I imagine you'd see from a spy satellite? but one that can look through time? but yeah, I'll have that report done by the end of the day

I've been sent video from the end of the ICE raid at the Zipps on 32nd and Shea.

It shows protesters -- on the sidewalk, impeding no one -- getting drive-by maced by an ICE agent from a truck as it rolls away down the road.

Hard to see how such tactics are justifiable.

You and what army?

No, really, Matt: if you want to deport and jail all my neighbors, you’re going to need an army.

We’re in the real world now bucko. This isn’t internet land where you declare something and it becomes true. You need actual dudes. So where’s your army?

This is great but means nothing long-term if he isn’t prosecuted. He oversaw public executions, engaged in domestic terrorism and lied about it under oath, etc etc.

If he gets away with it there will be no deterrent for the next guy who tries to do a white nationalist purge.

This is happening! An NH friend of mine lives just across the river from Maine and works over there sometimes. He said the locals are already picking out ICE agents at restaurants and bars, on the streets and at stores to berate them and run them off. Mariners will just say people are "from away"
Hey, let’s go to Maine in the dead of winter, a time of year that certainly won’t make us more recognizable to a populace that has the ability to spot an out-of-stater from 500 yards away.

it is both true that firing bovino doesn’t change a whole lot in terms of policy and also true that they have put a lot of money, time and effort into trying to make him the “never back down, fuck you, we own this place” face of the operation, and unceremoniously kicking him to the curb is a retreat

Exactly right.

Bovino's leaving? Great, get Noem to resign.

Noem resigns? Great, defund and dismantle ICE.

Go after Stephen Miller too. Bring charges against ICE thugs at the state and local level. Lawsuits. New state laws restricting them.

Every possible angle.
They are wounded and flailing. Press the advantage.

I want to say this too: this victory was won because we had observers EVERYWHERE. ICE and CBP couldn't set foot in our city without cameras rolling. Much of the nation seemed determined to ignore our plight for weeks, but the avalanche of documentation we produced dragged the nation to us.

The more I think about it, the more I’m convinced the Democrats have to push their hand immediately. The parallels with the delays and subsequent failures after January 6th are blaring warning signs about what will happen if they don’t go after the issues with ICE and CBP at the root RIGHT NOW.

Trump wants to make Greg Bovino the fall guy. He thinks we won’t remember that Vance, Noem, and Miller all called Pretti a terrorist and still refuse to hold his murderers accountable.

We can’t let them get away with it.

Seriously. This isn't just a massive tactical victory for Minnesota, it broadcasts Trump's weakness for all to see, which is why the hardcore fashies losing their mind over it.

If only the price wasn't so horrific.
It is amazing how quickly a handful of Minnesotans proved Trump isn’t just mortal but weak. Immense amount of civic pride right now.

We demand more. No ICE, no CBP goons, abolish ICE and DHS.

Then let’s get some trials going.
