The majority of Americans seem to be more interested in the scores of NFL games than in the fact the Gestapo is now operating freely in the country.
How is this not inciting violence?

Why must they remind ICE that they have immunity?

One of their agents just shot a killed a woman in broad daylight and they’re effectively telling them to go ahead and do whatever they want because they’re above the law.

Be safe Minneapolis.

Pretty wild. Shame the book seems to not have been given the attention it deserves.

Hello Tim Cook I worked at Tumblr when you gave us 48 hours to get rid of all the consenting, adult boobs. Up all night at your whim, out of the blue. But you're still cool with Twitter and its CSAM and revenge porn and whatever the fuck this is? Why do you even HAVE guidelines?
Previously, several of these companies, like Apple, IBM, and Disney, have paused advertising on X in response to antisemitic content. But antisemitism on X never slowed, sexual abuse imagery increased, and all of these companies quietly resumed advertising anyways.

Why isn't there a bigger Grok boycott?
Advertisers, politicians, and investors are still all-in on X, despite a sexual abuse crisis.

What's it going to take to get Americans out in the streets by the millions & shut everything down in a general strike?

Hasn't there been enough demagoguery?

The President's Praetorian guard hasn't murdered enough innocent people yet?

Too few violations of international law?

I kinda miss the days when their idiotic gun laws were the dumbest thing about the US.
9th Cir., 2-1, holds that open carry is protected by the Second Amendment even where a state allows concealed carry, strikes California's law banning urban open carry and its licensing law for open carry in rural counties.

Had to double-check this wasn't a post by @nytpitchbot.bsky.social And of course there's the "Democratic [party] overreach" bashing and insipid "media polarization" generalization.
In @nytopinion.nytimes.com

President Trump "has mimicked the strategies of such greats as Abraham Lincoln and Franklin Roosevelt," Thomas B. Edsall writes. "In doing so, he will, unlike them, leave the nation worse off than it was when he took office."

I wonder how many Americans really know the rest of the world is laughing at their government (and by extension, them) like they laughed at Baghdad Bob or the various North Korean propaganda puppets.
