Just woke up even angrier. Impeach, convict, remove. Draft articles now. Either we have a representative government or we don’t. Do not shut up about this until there’s a vote.

Trump to Fox & Friends on the raid that captured Maduro: "I mean, I watched it literally l like I was watching a television show. If you would've seen the speed, the violence -- it was an amazing thing."

Holy shit I am in tears myself.

Zohar is definitely special. But just the idea that this kind of hope could be felt in this dark hour is moving in and of itself.

This is a thread of major media outlets falsely anthropomorphising the "Grok" chatbot program and in doing so, actively and directly removing responsibility and accountability from individual people working at X who created a child pornography generator (Elon Musk, Nikita Bier etc)

there are endless headlines about "grok apologizes" or "grok says it will be fixed" after it generated CSAM using pictures of minors and zero headlines about "grok being shut down" or "musk and xAI in big legal trouble" and I think something fundamental has broken here
January 2, 2026 at 6:59 PM
Gotta say, it’s pretty fucking sad that we have to say it so often that we abbreviated CSAM

My worry with this kind of language is it lends itself to the the erroneous belief that one can query a chatbot about why it did a particular thing. My guess is that many people not well versed in how they work think this is an actual thing one can do and get a true and accurate answer.

"Republicans are never going to fix that problem because they don’t want to. .. While that’s been a usual state of affairs for years, the Trump admin is turbo-charging it. Somehow, the alleged daycare fraud in Minnesota .. is now the basis for freezing all childcare funding."

This is excellent:
New in PN: The blame for alleged fraud in Minnesota belongs to conservatives

"Republican policies have created a perfect vicious cycle: Privatize services, let private companies run amok, then declare that the government is the problem. And the Trump administration is turbo-charging it."
The blame for alleged fraud in Minnesota belongs to conservatives
Privatization and a lack of oversight creates a vicious cycle.

Also in addition to the revenge porn (which should be enough for people to leave), Grok is also just straight up making csam, which even Grok is admitting to

Staying on twitter is exposing you to personal safety risks, increased doxxing incidents, Neo-Nazi rhetoric, and apparently now CSAM

Strange takes on Mayor Zamdani swearing his oath on the Qu’ran. It has nothing to do with church & state. The point of the oath is for the person swearing in to do so upon some text that is sacred TO THEM. Some Presidents swore in w/o any book. John Quincy Adams was sworn on a law book. His choice.
