Today, after months of requests, I toured the Broadview ICE Processing Facility. I want to share what I saw.
The facility has no food vendor, no medical care, and detainees have to use toilets in the middle of shared cells. These are in no way suitable conditions to be holding anyone — period.

See the thing is Venezuelan oil is highly crude and while valuable-ish is not actually something the oil companies are chomping at the bit for, so this is literally just that they haven’t updated their understanding of the world since the early 90s

One thing I find utterly bizarre is how many of the billionaire twits have wonderful, talented, caring first wives who seem to have strong moral codes.
I’m curious if they were, at one point, better, more interesting men who earned partners like this, or like.. straight lady Stockholm syndrome?
