I've spent the day playing video games and poking at a rock pile and next there will be Broasted ™️ chicken and onion rings from a ruralish WI bar. Glad to reconnect with someone I really do like spending time with and feel like no time has passed after years, aside from our bodies being all busted.

Got to poke around a pile of river rock that has been on a roof since the 1960s, so nobody really picked through it before. Every day I'm glad I am so easily amused.

This isn't quite true. I give lots of chances. I give second and third and fourth chances to people I really love before I end a relationship, but when I'm Done with a romantic relationship, I tend to stay Very Done and don't look back.
Tomorrow I'm going to go hang out with somebody I dated years ago for the first time since he got sober more than a year ago. I don't really do second chances and I'm not calling it a date, but I'm really excited to see him and really talk about everything that happened last year without an audience
