For the second night in a row I practiced this for ~10 minutes

The good news is that I can play this competently if I go slow and mute the strings

The oligarchs funding Trump, and Trump himself, are all-in on AI.

You might as well be driving a cybertruck. Philosophically and economically, when you use AI, you support Trump.

Fuck—and I cannot stress this enough—Gavin Newsom
Gavin Newsom is a Republican and supporting him for president means you are, too
Culturally normal is a dog whistle.

I’d always meant to listen to more Booker T and the MGs, and I finally threw on their first album while I was working on my Biz Law final project

I was struck by how much Steve Cropper’s guitar tone sounded like the spinet in the basement of the church where I grew up

As long as I’m discoursing about Christmas music, there are only two versions of Baby It’s Cold Outside worth putting on your playlist

I feel like Larry Ellison would love to have Harry Potter
Because the easiest, fastest cost savings Ellison could reach for in this transaction is basically to move the WB franchises (Batman/DC, Harry Potter) to Paramount and can the rest of the slate.

That'd leave a Hollywood with ~20 big films from Paramount and WB per year, instead of potentially ~36

Oh man what a great story idea. The Verge is doing some of the best work out there right now.
Talked to the Mad Men special effects foreman holding the puke hose about all the (usually) invisible creative work that goes into making grounded TV feel real
Mad Men’s special effects foreman hasn’t seen the infamous 4K remaster
“I had to watch a lot of videos of people vomiting.”

“I’ll be your lunch date, your party favorite”

“I wondered about you
when you told me never to leave

lying around the house because the mice”

I practiced this for 15 minutes tonight!

My brain kept short-circuiting when I finished doing it and had to start over, but I can get through one combination if I play slowly

I now have $40 to put towards a room for Bo$Fringe, assuming I make the cut.

Thank you so much, you delightful weirdos.
I am so grateful for everyone’s support on Bandcamp Friday. Anything I make from album sales between now will go towards room costs, assuming I get a spot at Bo$Fringe. Leap and the net will appear, right?

I’m a little in shock, but someone just paid $31 for my EP. The number was so big I had to show it to my sweetheart to confirm that I didn’t misread it.

I didn’t recognize the email address and I don’t want to put anyone’s government name on the skyline without their permission, but:

Thank you for the kind words!
Rudolph’s Ranch by Travels with Brindle. I'm a sucker for fireplace music, the kind you put on and just relax into. Rudolph’s Ranch is totally that. The title track is delightful and much like the flag of Sweden the Big Star cover is a big plus. 2/4?
