Tencair in @thestarsaredestiny.com is partially inspired by Minneapolis and Duluth, Minnesota, as well as Reykjavík, Iceland — sprawls of colorful houses billowing steam. Those cold Arctic sunrises and sunsets make our misery worth it. 💙🩵🤍
Our beautiful city. Minneapolis deserves better than the people terrorizing it.

Remember Minnesota friends, Friday the 23rd is a general strike. No work, no school, no shopping. Go downtown and protest or stay in your community and protect your neighbors.

Moreover, once you do make friends with a Minnesotan, you make a friend for life. The quality of friendships is higher here.
A constant refrain among transplants in Minnesota is that it’s hard to make friends with locals. That may be true, but you don’t have to be friends with your neighbors; you just have to be a good neighbor.

And that’s Minnesota for you.
It’s ironic that they’re like “if we do ethnic cleansing we’ll have a high trust neighborly society” and then Minneapolis is literally doing high trust neighborly society and they’re like nooooo

Ah yes, the condiments of a Minnesota winter breakfast: butter, syrup, sugar, salt, pepper, and Norwegian style hand lotion.

As someone who studied semiotics in college it was always funny to me that "woke" was the word social regressives picked up on to label anything rooted in reality that they didn't like, and that it was co-opted from Black culture at that.

The opposite of awake is asleep. It's such a self-own.

We block Duginbots so we can scream at sports instead. You'll find this culture only on Bluesky, the official app of sports.

Yeah honestly this tracks for Uptown and Grand Ave
I think it's very fitting that the Revolutionary HQ of Minneapolis is a sex shop (that DOES NOT have a glory hole) and Revolutionary HQ of Saint Paul is a toy store where you can get Settlers of Catan.

Meredith is absurdly cool. You should follow her for more of whatever this is. 💜
I walk through the valley in the shadow of Death and I fear no evil. For I inquired of the well-being of her wife and kids, and she sayeth unto me, "Lo, they are dead."

And then she gaveth me the finger guns and sayeth, "AAAAAHHH!!" and I did the same.

Bluesky only became the official app of yelling at sports because we decided early on we didn't have to yell at bots and trolls. Block, report, and save that scream for the turnovers.
I want to be clear here, I clown on Bluesky sometimes but us being immune to the charms of this kind of #Resist posting is why I’m happy to keep hanging out here. Let’s go watch some football.
A tale of three apps. Identical post sent at the same time:

Twitter: 136,000 likes, 20,000 shares

Threads: 46,000 likes, 4,000 ahares

Bluesky: 149 likes, 45 shares

To be clear, I have 60k followers on Twitter, 15k on Bluesky, but only 7k on Threads.

I love Bluesky, but this isn't sustainable.

Remember the last time that Denmark got into a conflict with a North American nation over the ownership of an island in the Arctic?

That was way more fun.

Though they *did* only use diplomacy after their respective governments ordered them to stop using alcohol.
