We are facing a humanitarian crisis here. Each passing day we learn of new neighbors who haven’t left their homes and have fallen through the cracks. Lots of people aren’t connected to mutual aid networks. Just terrible suffering caused by the federal government.

Shit, if not for Texas politics I'd happily live there. I cannot emphasize enough the generosity of spirit and hospitality I have encountered when I have found myself in Texas. Update: I went outside to lay down some more dirt and wildflower seeds and I touched one of the slime molds and it was awesome.
I've got yellow slime molds growing in my backyard hell yeah!
Had to remove some, unfortunately, since they took over some patio tiles and can't really break anything down there. But hell yeah I have slime molds AND some worms moved in to my teeny tiny beds, too, I hope the wildflowers love it!
