A recently discovered canid is making their home along the coast of LA. They’re classified as coyotes, but Red Wolf ancestry gives them bigger ears, and longer legs.

🚨Latest News: The USFWS announced it will not move forward with a nationwide recovery plan for gray wolves, a major reversal from its earlier commitment.

The decision comes despite ongoing threats to wolves in parts of the West where state laws permit aggressive killing.
