Looking forward to the Hampstead Pond consultation leading to another week of 'when we say "listen to women" we don't mean women without a newspaper column, because those women are VERY stupid bitches' opinion pieces from ppl whose professional social circles include at least 3 known sex pests

A transphobic hate group tried to bring a case to ban trans folk from using the appropriately gendered pool at Hampstead Heath, as they’ve been doing for years. The case got dismissed.

You wouldn’t know it from this headline.
This is a disgracefully dishonest headline from the BBC. Its motivation can only be deliberately to mislead the public about who lost the case.

Reminding everyone, PLEASE, DO NOT sub to your favorite content creators through phone apps as it not only charges you more, it also takes a higher % from us AND to top it all off blocks the money from being received for 30 fucking days for some goddamned reason.
For fucks sake, again with the apple/patreon bullshit. I have to move to monthly billing and fuck me over www.patreon.com/posts/148395...

13 years on your platform. Thanks for nothing patreon. I hope the apple dick is that good.

There is a much simpler way they could make more money from it. Halve the price, drop everything from it except the Star Trek stuff which is the only reason anyone subscribes, and rename it "The Star Trek Channel".

Had a propaganda^w training session on using AI at Ork. Someone demo'd how it can help tidy an email for spolling and grammar and punctuation. Rather than hitting F7 they spent 5 mins asking the Theft Engine...great time saving bud...

We had to make an AI committment. Mine was to never use Gen Ai..

"My husband complains about the cold," the man said. "Can you teach me a spell to keep him warm?"

"I can teach you to bind hair into a net to catch heat," the wizard said, "using arcane counting and a pair of fine wands."

After a while, the man said "Isn't this knitting?"

"This, too, is magic."

A few days ago, I stood in the graveyard of an 1100 year old church, getting damper and damper in the drizzling rain.

A woman walked into the graveyard, waved, said hello, and, as we had previously arranged, handed me a paper bag full of human bones.

The life of a churchwarden is a strange one...

Fascinating. Also....what if the tiny people are real and all around us and the mushrooms just let us see them.
With most psychedelic drugs, you never know what you're going to get. But this mysterious mushroom from China - without fail - causes users to hallucinate tiny people: crawling up walls, popping out from under furniture and marching under doors. www.bbc.com/future/artic...

Only recently described by science, the mysterious mushrooms are found in different parts of the world, but they give people the same exact visions.
