They are flighty by nature but can be tamed down with patience. They are very fond of sweet things so can be encouraged with a little bit of honey to lick at your finger.

However, they are MUCH faster than any of the New Caledonian geckos, with wicked looking sickle-shaped claws and green eyes.

Back when I had a group of them about 12 years ago we jokingly called them “the poor man’s Leachianus gecko” because they have (almost)the size and the look, but generally went for about $75.
