Great work here by the Posit team. If you give an LLM a plot designed to show a relationship, the LLM will extremely frequently describe the relationship it expects to see, rather than what the plot actually shows!

i see a lot of people recommend using LLMs to learn to code. i suspect most of those people fall into two camps:

i see a lot of people recommend using LLMs to learn to code. i suspect most of those people fall into two camps:
as someone who usually doesn't use python, it took all of an hour from going "gross, why would someone use this newfangled library instead of pandas" to "gross, why would anyone use pandas over polars ever"
