I disagree with notion that the choice that lies ahead of us in the future is solely between "human-driven" and "self-driven" cars and dispute the framing of this NYT piece. we can break free of car-centric infrastructure regardless of whether it's a person or Silicon Valley behind the wheel, imho

as a "by the way..." -- likely not going to be actively doing any advent of code this year unless i do a one-off stream or something like that! i'm fortunate enough to be very busy this december and that comes at the expense of not staying up super late for AOC to open

Great work here by the Posit team. If you give an LLM a plot designed to show a relationship, the LLM will extremely frequently describe the relationship it expects to see, rather than what the plot actually shows!
