I know this sounds like a bit, but someone spray painted "end US fascism" on the side of a storage facility I drive by, and it looks like someone tried to scrub it off but gave up, so now all it says is "fascism" in only slightly faded letters

One of the worst things that can happen to you is to be born at a piece of time when a piece of media is going to do something silly with language that is going to become an indelible part of you vocabulary long after it's stopped airing, and make you sound like an idiot to everyone born after

I don't go here (LiS) but this article speaks a lot to the attitudes I see from fans these days. "The devs did so-and-so dirty, they didn't get their happily ever after/redemption arc/love story/etc". Sometimes the point is not everything is wrapped up in a neat little bow!!

Sometimes the value in watching a movie is not that it is "good" by a critical metric, but that it spreads fertilizer and sun around your imagination going "ohhhhhhh but what if what if what if?"
