I honestly do not believe this explanation/apology from Find Out Now. There is simply no way that poll should have been published, and I suspect it was a deliberate strategy to gain a jump on coverage. The British Polling Council really should examine its membership, given both this and its methods

Having seen several abductions up close, it is really hard to convey how much the thing they’re doing is roaming in military convoys until they see someone who is alone and isn’t white, and then jumping out in large numbers, pulling them into a van, and screeching off, all in 90 seconds or so.

So the logic, as I understand it, is that the Online Safety Act was necessary to protect children from exposure to pornography, and that young people should also be kept off of the government’s preferred social media channels so that adults can participate in the free exchange of child pornography.
