It is wild to me that a military incursion to steal another country’s resources so the president can have a personal slush fund in Qatar is like the 5th most scandalous thing currently happening.
this is a straightforward impeachable offense for trump, vance, rubio and every other person down the line who enabled it and the framers would have thought impeachment for it did not go nearly far enough
Marco Rubio: "The oil proceeds are being deposited into an account that ultimately will become a US Treasury blocked account here in the US. We will say 'this is what this money can be spent on.' They will submit to us a budget request -- 'we want to use the money on these things.'"

1. ICE is using Palantir apps to collect biometric data on protestors. I'm working closely with @markey.senate.gov to stop this.

Brave and patriotic and terrible
"I am a children's entertainer who specializes in face painting," writes a woman now in hiding from the federal government for witnessing a state-sanctioned street execution
You have to read this. Firsthand affidavit from one of the women who was there and recording the video. She talks about how Alex Pretti was directing traffic when she arrived. She watched him be killed in front of her. She's afraid to go home, worried she'll be arrested.

Since July, I've tracked at least 2,300 cases in which federal judges have ruled ICE has illegally detained people without bond or due process.

This is one that stands out:

We've made this Sinister Minnesotans shirt from our Stan Kelly comic this week.

Net proceeds from this shirt will be donated to local organizations doing their part to keep Minnesotans safe and send ICE agents home to ruin their own fucking communities.

Fuck ICE and stay strong, Minneapolis.

Thread is a pretty short walk for a well worth it payoff 😂
i did debate in our high school, and once our school hosted a debate tournament, and our coaches had the kids on the team do most of the legwork for getting it all set up. my job was to get the trophies

Great thread - very reminiscent of what Wisconsin fans all said about the 94 and early 2000s trips

Except we drank LA dry of all their beer and brandy, which is a damn fine accomplishment
Since nothing else is happening in the world and I'm back home now I just wanted to reflect on what a cool experience the Rose Bowl was. First of all there were IU fans everywhere we went in LA all week so that rocked. The game itself was probably 90-10 or 85-15 IU.

Flipping through what I have and saw Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip sitting there. Popped on that first episode and despite my having watched it three previous times, it still hits every single moment with me.

I love this show.
I adore this cast.

We were robbed only getting one season.

I am happy to pay $30 a year for USPS Prime, which delivers mail daily to my home
The USPS posting a NINE BILLION DOLLAR LOSS!!! sounds terrible. Certainly worse than if you said "USPS costs thirty dollars per person per year" even though that means the same thing and more accurately describes a government service
