Found out I’ll be traveling more this year than previous. Just a bit farther, crossing these state lines more frequently; TN, KY, GA, NC, SC, VA, WV

Looking forward to visiting a lot of new comic shops. And hoping I’ve got mutuals who can recommend the best places to stop at when the time comes!

Disclaimer: the team of Carmine Infantino and George Roussos on art is pretty darn sweet for Deadman’s first appearance.

If you see this, post the 4 mutants who have always been your favourite since you first got into X-Men.

Tuesday morning comics

Third billing in the credits at the top of this cover (that he drew), but everyone knows the reason this Baxter series of Deadman reprints exists is due to the artistry of Neal Adams.

Back into my Hulk read-through tonight, with 141 (ending at 150 when this installment concludes). Inkers over the past few issues have included Sal Buscema, Sam Grainger, and Mike Esposito - all well known to Bronze Age babies.

But 141 marked the return of John Severin, and wowza - another level!

I like it! Much more affordable than the double Page spread too!

This is some of the best political news I've seen in a very long time.

There's a clear a way to end the Citizens United precedent by changing state incorporation laws - and now luminaries in both parties are forcing a vote on it in the 2026 election.

Have you seen this 2017 tribute book to Eddy? I connected with Darko Makan and he sent me a copy. I have to use a translation app for the Croatian text but the collection of art contained within is stellar!

Rogue Squadron was when I took note of Biuković and began looking for his name on anything and everything.

His Human Target was gorgeous!

My dad took my brother and I to see this in the theater beginning my appreciation for Middle Earth. I still adore rewatching this version today.

Doodling at the couch while I’m going though an hernia surgery recovery’s . No too much pain today, maybe tomorrow I’ll be able to pencil some pages. Let’s see how the body feels, fingers crossed.

Wholeheartedly agree. But then I think just about everything Biukovic drew was outstanding!

No. I haven’t seen that here.

I love revisiting early Grendel. Devil By The Deed of course, but also the 40 issues published by Comico, the 10 issue Grendel War Child, and several of the Grendel Tales all still superb reads. Highly recommend!

Either I forgot how disturbing this book can be or Matt is getting better at making me want to look away. So dark

Monday morning comics!

I bought this Grendel miniseries as it was coming out, but stashed them aside until it was completed. Kind of got lost in a stack until I found them yesterday. Time to knock these four issues out!
