A few years ago I had the chance to meet Paul Thomas Anderson during Oscar events (this is one of my favorite photos from all that).

His new movie is truly fantastic, and I’m so glad I saw it in the theater. It’s a masterpiece worthy of all the accolades it is getting.

To be clear: If you can’t AFFORD to pitch in, that’s totally understandable. By contrast, if you’re COMPLAINING about independent media is politely ASKING for subscriber support — that is not understandable. It must mean you are happy with “free” corporate media & its oligarch-approved content.
