She/her. Contemporary romance writer penning books that feature billionaires, bikers, small towns, and always a happily ever after. Just making it up as I go along.

PBS is always the superlative choice. And I’m counting down the days to the 6-part Ken Burns’ Revolutionary War documentary in a couple of weeks.
either watching PBS or watching stuff that originally aired on PBS
the genre is "people who know what a tea-cosy is"
its that time of year where i go back to watching PBS more than usual. it's a Frankie Drake kind of night.

Great ep—I'm not just saying that because I edited Katie Reus's Falling for Nola, which manages to be a great little short where the h/h *don't* know each other before pg 1.

Also I just started Ladies in Waiting—it's delightful. Justice (and happy endings!) for Jane Austen's other ladies!
We definitely have a hope-became-reality hangover this morning, but we also have a very fun episode for you today! We're talking romance shorts -- not novellas, not short novels, but actual short stories under 15,000 words (or about 50 pages).

It turns out when you fire all the staff who handle travel bookings, visas, and security, the inspectors can't do their job either. These absolute dipshits.

Remember the time Obama personally caught a fainting woman during his speech — rather than just blankly staring like a sociopath?

Character isn't something you tell people about.

It's something you live.

You know what I’m not in the mood for right now or in 2027? A military light super hero movie. Let’s put those down and get back to the rom coms and something horny with magic. Give the kids story heavy live actions with kids in them.
‘AVENGERS: SECRET WARS’ was originally meant to be released today.

The film will now release in December 2027.

When the band learned their music was increasingly popular with young people, they got back together and started playing shows.

“It just keeps snowballing,” band member Chris Sheppard says. “And each time I feel like it’s more and more fun.”

Let me state this as clearly as I can:

It is not the job of a historian to make you feel good about your nation’s past.

We need to print this on t-shirts and bumper stickers.

Diane Keaton was a true Californian. She was a self-described oddball, uniquely stylish, deeply creative, funny, and an acting legend who could steal the screen in comic and dramatic roles alike. She was in a class all her own, an icon.

DIANE KEATON transformed American cinema with performances that redefined leading women on screen. From Annie Hall's Oscar-winning charm to The Godfather's quiet strength, she brought intelligence, vulnerability, and style to every role. A huge loss. #RIP

A mark of greatness in my profession (acting, not shitposting) is an effortless quality. One of the reasons Diane Keaton doesn’t get the same roses as, say Meryl Streep or Glenn Close, is she made it look so easy. It definitely was not. One of the greats.

I’m not Phillip Bump’s mom, but today I am the embodiment of EVERY mom who drooled over Robert Redford. I saw his early movies with Natalie Wood, the movie adaptation of Barefoot in the Park, and THEN, the breakout movie, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Goner, right from the start.
Probably like many people my age, my earliest familiarity with Robert Redford is that he was the guy my mom would drool over.
